Bunch-by-bunch Feedback Commissioned at Indus-2

Commissioning of transverse bunch-by-bunch feedback systems in Indus-2 took place from December 16^th through 20^th of 2013. System operation was successfully demonstrated in horizontal and vertical planes at injection energy and during energy ramping. The plot shows significant negative tune shift in the vertical plane with the oscillation amplitude (color-coded). In this measurement, the feedback system is turned off at at the beginning of the transient, allowing vertical oscillations to grow. At 12 ms the feedback is turned back on, damping the motion.

Bunch-by-bunch feedback operation in the longitudinal plane has been demonstrated as well using an improvised kicker setup.
